Vasseur offers verdict on Ferrari's 'good' Mexico result
Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur described the Mexico City Grand Prix as a "good weekend overall" for the Scuderia, despite challenging conditions. Charles Leclerc secured a second consecutive podium, finishing an impressive runner-up after qualifying P2. While Lewis Hamilton showed strong pace, qualifying P3 and battling at the front, he ultimately finished eighth after receiving a controversial 10-second penalty for cutting Turn 4 during a skirmish with Max Verstappen. Vasseur noted McLaren's Lando Norris demonstrated superior long-run performance, making overtaking difficult. He also acknowledged the unique high-altitude conditions made car setup, particularly cooling, a significant challenge, but was pleased with Ferrari's consistent competitiveness throughout the event.
